Don't Look Back is the first English crime novel in Karin Fossum's Sejer series. There very first Sejer novel, Evas øye (Eve's Eye), has not yet been translated to English.
An entire village is shocked by the murder of one of its young girls. And even though this village is a place where everyone seems to know too much about everyone, inspector Konrad Sejer initially finds few clues and no witnesses.
Inspector Sejer, himself a secretive cop still grieving his late wife, starts extracting secrets from the tight-lipped townspeople. The plot shifts course several times along the way to the stunning, ominous conclusion.
